What we do
Mippin is an agile and dynamic mobile applications and content company. We build world leading app-creation platforms & multi-award winning apps. We license application-builder platforms (the App Factory) to major handset manufacturers and mobile operators, while in parallel developing and distributing our own mobile apps for pretty much all device platforms (iPhone, Android, Nokia Ovi, Symbian, Blackberry, etc).
Cross platform App Factory
Specifically on the App Factory, this is a cross-platform app-creation engine that allows content owners to build great looking apps in minutes. We license the platform to handset manufacturers and mobile operators, allowing them to populate their app-stores quickly and easily with thousands of class leading apps - basically creating app-like experiences across all handsets - not just iPhones and smartphones. The platform is already being used by one of the worlds largest handset manufacturers and a leading global mobile operator.
App competition winner
On the apps front, 2009 saw Mippin win two major developer competitions - one from Nokia and another from Google (their Android Developer Challenge) - and 2010 looks like being a great year for us as we continue to innovate on application development, build-out our distribution partners and leverage our position as a world leading Android development team.
